What to Expect

Group soundbaths are shared healing experiences where vibrational sound — from crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks and voice — bathes the room to support deep relaxation, energetic realignment and inner release. Participants lie or sit comfortably while the facilitator guides the field with intention, creating a safe, held container for rest, reflection and subtle transformation.

What happens in a group soundbath

  • Arrival and settling: You’ll be welcomed, guided to ground and set an intention. Props like mats, blankets and bolsters are provided for comfort.

  • Guided opening: A short meditation or breathwork helps everyone tune in and prepare their body and nervous system.

  • Sound immersion: The facilitator plays instruments and may use voice, weaving frequencies to shift energy, calm the nervous system and encourage embodied relaxation.

  • Integration: After the sound, there’s gentle guidance to come back, time to journal or share, and suggestions to integrate the experience.

Benefits of group soundbaths

  • Deep relaxation and nervous system regulation — ideal for chronic stress, anxiety and insomnia.

  • Access to altered states of consciousness that support emotional release and insight.

  • Energetic realignment and chakra balancing through targeted frequencies.

  • Heightened group coherence — shared resonance can amplify the healing field.

  • Accessible entry point into energy work for those new to meditation or one-to-one healing.

Who they’re for

  • Anyone seeking restorative rest, emotional processing or a meditative reset.

  • People curious about sound healing but who prefer a shared setting.

  • Those looking to deepen their meditation practice or explore subtle energy work.

What to bring and how to prepare

  • Wear comfortable clothes and bring anything that helps you rest (blanket, eye mask, pillow).

  • Hydrate beforehand and avoid heavy meals immediately before the session.

  • Arrive a few minutes early to settle and set an intention.

Safety and accessibility

  • Soundbaths are non-invasive and generally safe, but please let the facilitator know about epilepsy, severe mental health conditions, sound sensitivity, pregnancy or recent surgeries.

  • Facilitators can offer alternatives (reduced volume, different instruments, or modified positions) to ensure inclusion.
